January 2009

New Web site and Blogs
For the past several months there has been a team of very creative and diligent Southwestern workers and an outside consulting firm working to update our corporate web site. It went live on January 14 and we’re very proud to direct you to the site. The layout is updated; the colors have changed; and the site is much more inclusive. If, after viewing the site, you have questions or suggestions, please forward those to me. Please visit the site at www.southwestern.com and click on Campus Officials in the upper right hand corner.

Campus Relations Blog
It seems like there’s always something new to try and to learn. I have begun blogging and the first blog is on our new web site. I encourage you to read the blog and even better would be to RSS it to you. You can do that after you read the blog at http://campusrelationsblog.southwestern.com.

Featured Campus of the Quarter
With the new Southwestern web site that was unveiled in January a new section was included. Each quarter there will be a “featured campus of the quarter.” We are proud to announce that the first campus on this site is the University of Nebraska-Lincoln. Southwestern and the University of Nebraska have enjoyed a long and successful relationship. Go to here to see the first featured campus.
